Yes. Because this is an active in-home boarding environment, tours are not available during drop-off or pickup.
If you would like to stop by before booking, please reach out in advance. I typically schedule quick meet-and-greets or tours in the evening when most daycare dogs have gone home and the house is calmer.
-
Please bring your dog’s regular food or treats, enough for the full stay and preferably pre-measured. Also bring a leash, any medication your dog needs, and written feeding or medication instructions if applicable.
Bedding, blankets, bowls, and other basic care items are included. Please avoid sending toys, beds, extra blankets, or unnecessary personal items.
-
Required vaccinations include Rabies, DHPP / Distemper-Parvo combination, and Bordetella / Kennel Cough.
Proof of vaccination may be sent as a photo, PDF, vet record, or email from your veterinarian.
-
No. Please do not bring your dog if they are showing signs of illness, including coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, or known exposure to a contagious illness.
If your dog appears sick during their stay, you will be contacted and may be asked to pick up your dog.
-
Yes, as long as the medication is clearly labeled and instructions are provided. Medication should include your dog’s name, the medication name, dosage, time or approximate time of day, and whether it should be given with food.
If your dog has a complicated care routine, please let me know before booking so I can confirm whether it is manageable. Extra care may require an additional fee.
-
Yes. I send photo and video updates during your dog’s stay. I try to keep owners informed without turning boarding into a full-time documentary production.
If something important comes up, I will contact you directly.
-
Yes. This is an in-home boarding and daycare environment where dogs may be around other dogs. Group play and shared space can provide exercise and socialization, but they also carry normal risks.
If you prefer your dog not to interact with other dogs, please reach out before booking so we can discuss whether Dirty Paws is the right fit.
-
Dogs have multiple supervised potty breaks and play times daily. Yard time is always monitored, and dogs are never left outside unsupervised.
All dogs have access to multiple sanitized water bowls refreshed daily.
-
All dogs sleep inside. Depending on what your dog is used to and where they settle best, they may sleep on a dog bed, in a crate, on the couch, or in another comfortable indoor spot.
The goal is for each dog to rest safely and comfortably in a way that fits their normal routine as much as possible.
-
If your dog becomes ill, injured, or appears to need veterinary attention while in care, I will make reasonable efforts to contact you and/or your emergency contact.
If you cannot be reached within a reasonable time, or if the situation appears urgent, I may seek veterinary care at your regular veterinary clinic or another available veterinary clinic.
Any veterinary expenses, emergency care, transportation, medication, treatment, or related costs are the owner’s responsibility, including any costs not covered or reimbursed by insurance.
-
Payment is due at or before pickup.
Accepted payment methods include Venmo, Cash App, cash, Zelle, or Apple Pay.
-
The goal is simple: keep the environment safe, clean, comfortable, and fun for every dog in care.
